The EPTDA community expands to 260 member companies ahead of its Annual Convention

EPTDA recently welcomed four new faces, bringing the EMEA’s leading power transmission association up to a total of 260 member companies. The European Power Transmission Distributors Association welcomes its new members and is looking forward to introducing them to the EPTDA community at its Annual Convention, which will be held on 21-23 September in Berlin, Germany. Joining them at this year’s eagerly anticipated event will be over 400 members and guests from more than 160 PT/MC companies – nearly 30 for the very first time.

“We are always keen to see the positive response of the many members joining us each year and we strive to make the convention better year after year,” comments Hans Hanegreefs, EPTDA Executive Vice-President. “Bringing new blood to the Association’s annual gatherings is as important to EPTDA as retaining the existing delegates. Once these newcomers have experienced the benefits of attending this unique high-level networking event, nearly all of them then join the Association. With new programmes, a wide array of international speakers, amazing networking opportunities and almost all of the key companies in the PT/MC industry present, EPTDA Berlin 2016 will certainly be no exception!”

The four additions to the EPTDA community are the respected distributor companies Beltimport Ltd (Ukraine) and CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. (Italy), and two manufacturers from Italy: Chiorino S.p.A. and A ZETA Gomma Forniture Industriali S.p.A.

Beltimport Ltd was founded in 1996 and is now a leading distributor of high-quality drive and conveyor elements in the Ukrainian market. The company supplies products from leading European and international manufacturers, whose names are associated with quality and innovation. Today, Beltimport Ltd has dealer contracts with more than 80 manufacturers and has amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge about the products it supplies, for many applications in different industries. Beltimport Ltd is strong due to its excellent team of professionals, its extensive network of branch offices and its well-stocked warehouse containing many different types of power transmission products. Beltimport Ltd’s mission is to help as many people as possible to understand the word “effectiveness”. Its expertise and enthusiasm ensure that the most effective products and services for industrial components are available to its clients, several factories and manufacturing companies.

“As the largest Ukrainian distributor working only with top-quality products, Beltimport believes it belongs in EPTDA, where key distributors and manufacturers meet,” says Alla Pochtova, Head of Beltimport’s Purchasing Department. “Needless to say, there are many high-quality manufacturers among the existing membership of EPTDA, and a lot of them are already our partners. It is a great privilege to attend reputable communication platforms such as the EPTDA Annual Convention, where we can find solutions to global and strategic questions together with senior executives of our partner companies and others. When we run a long way, we need to understand who is running with us.”

Founded in 1969 and specialising in rolling bearings, CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. is one of the first Italian independent distributors of power transmission products. Serving the OEM and MRO markets from its premises and warehouse in Milan, the company has its main customers in the following sectors: gearboxes, winches, mechanical drives, hydraulic pumps and motors, industrial fans, vibrating equipment, machine tools, steel production, railway vehicles, and agricultural and construction machinery. An official distributor of URB bearings since 1985, CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. supplies other companies’ brands in addition to its own, with the capability of supplementing its range with additional technical components, such as pillow blocks, seals and other power transmission parts.

Its many years of experience in this field make CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. the ideal partner for the choice of the right standard product in every application, or for the development of the most effective customised solution.

Explaining why his company has become a member of EPTDA, Massimiliano Gasparetti, CBC General Manager, says: “CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. has joined EPTDA because it is part of the international network active in the mechanical power transmission field, and the company strongly believes in the mutual exchange of experience for promoting the use of the products it deals with. CBC Colombo Brugnoni & Co. is of the opinion that close cooperation between distributors and manufacturers is a key factor in developing what is best in terms of products, services and current applications and contributing to innovation, and is firmly convinced there is benefit in the synergies created between distributors from different countries.”

Chiorino S.p.A., based in Biella, Italy, is a leader in the production of conveyor and process belts, power transmission belts, timing belts, elastomer cots and coverings. Through its 20 affiliated companies and more than 60 exclusive distributors, Chiorino S.p.A. offers belt know-how and a prompt installation service 24/7 all around the world.

A Zeta Gomma Forniture Industriali S.p.A. boasts more than 40 years’ expertise in the production and marketing of transmission belts, rubber sheets and matting, and rubber and PVC conveyor belts, as well as in the production of rubber and plastic moulded items.

Technological research, and product and service quality: these are the elements of the growing success of A Zeta Gomma.
